MAGNOLIA BLOSSOMS
Original stained glass art by Joseph Tracy of Brookside Glassworks

I was a truck farmer for awhile and still love to work in the garden, but as gardeners learn, the earth works in us as much as we work in the earth . Water, air, earth, seeds, roots, stones, stars in the sky, death from life and life from death; we are surrounded with wonders and immersed in mysteries. The man raking is from a Breughel drawing.

WELCOME TRANSOM: This window was created for the front door of a home designed by friends. The house is a modern adaptation of architecture from the colonial period, when the pineapple was a luxury for special occasions which came to symbolize the spirit of welcome. SEED STEALER, HONEY THIEF
A literal and metaphoric meditation on the birds and the bees and the seemingly uncontrollable, almost "alein" intensity of love and desire. The beekeeper is from a sketch by Breughal. Original stained glass art by Joseph Tracy of Brookside Glassworks

PLUM BLOSSOM WINDOW
Made for a home in the San Mateo Hills, most windows are a visual transition from interior to exterior. The integration of design and architecture, can enhance this transition . Original stained glass art by Joseph Tracy of Brookside Glassworks
